We have groups that meet together to pray in various locations every week. We come together to pray for each other, for specific needs and to listen to God speak to us in our prayer. The early church was founded with prayer. In fact, right through the New Testament, we are encouraged to 'pray without ceasing', 'continue steadfastly in prayer', 'give thanks' and 'make your requests made known to God'.
The very first chapter of Acts records a group of people meeting in a house to pray with one accord. Acts 1:14. We read in the New Testament when people met together to pray, the Holy Spirit moved in very real ways that changed many lives. As we meet together in homes around our city, we believe that God hears our prayers and answers them!
